About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Opto-Mechanical Engineer to join our team at ASML. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for the mechanical design of opto-mechanical systems, collaborating closely with other teams and external suppliers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement mechanical design solutions for opto-mechanical systems, ensuring high precision and reliability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, planning, and prioritization.
  • Contribute to the specification, concept development, and qualification of designs, ensuring compliance with ASML's quality standards.
  • Manage and maintain technical product documentation, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Lead and coach a small team of engineers, providing guidance and support to ensure successful project delivery.

Requirements

  • Masters in mechanical precision engineering or equivalent.
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in optical design and mechanical engineering.
  • Experience in a design role in a complex technical environment, with knowledge of the V-model.
  • Dedicated knowledge of precision engineering, opto-mechanics, static, dynamic, and thermal load cases, constraint design, and high-precision alignment.
  • Excellent CAD skills, preferably with NX, and familiarity with PLM systems.
  • Thorough knowledge of the ASML D&E MDEV Way-of-Working.

  • Strong analytical skills, with a pragmatic attitude and ability to think outside the box.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills, with the ability to work effectively in an international, multicultural environment.
