Job Summary
We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Chef de Partie to join our culinary team at Serre Restaurant. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for preparing diverse dishes to the highest standards, conducting mise en place activities, maintaining kitchen cleanliness, and ensuring optimal kitchen performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare dishes according to standards, recipes, and planning, ensuring exceptional quality and presentation.
- Maintain the highest standards of food quality, freshness, and presentation, making adjustments as necessary.
- Oversee every area of the kitchen, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
- Conduct mise en place activities, including food preparation, storage, and inventory management.
- Develop new menu items and contribute to menu planning, ensuring innovative and delicious options for our guests.
- Train and advise colleagues and trainees, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
- Follow strict hygiene and safety protocols, ensuring a clean and safe working environment.
- Receive, check, and store ordered food items and supplies, maintaining accurate inventory records.
What We Offer
- Contract: 1 year, with the possibility of extending, providing stability and growth opportunities.
- Salary: Group 5, with a competitive salary scale based on full-time employment.
- Bonus: 1 week's salary when the hotel reaches budgeted GOP and a successful year-end evaluation.
- 8% holiday allowance (pro rata).
- 25 vacation days per year (pro rata).

Requirements

- SVH or similar certification.
