Role Overview

The Engagement Principal will play a pivotal role in our Supply Chain Consulting division, focusing on software delivery. This position encompasses a variety of responsibilities, including:

  • Serving as a subject matter expert in supply chain management during both implementation and pre-sales phases.
  • Collaborating closely with Product and Technical teams to influence product enhancements and strategic direction.
  • Acting as the primary liaison between clients, internal teams, and external partners, including consultants and system integrators, ensuring seamless communication on all project-related matters.
  • Ensuring that project requirements are clearly understood and met by the team, delivering results that align with client expectations and contractual agreements.
  • Managing project resources effectively, monitoring progress through key performance indicators, and addressing any issues that arise.
  • Maintaining project scope and keeping clients focused on objectives.
  • Facilitating meetings and workshops with clients, from initial discovery sessions to comprehensive final presentations.
  • Estimating and documenting project requirements for proposals and statements of work.
  • Representing Clear Ventures as the face of the organization and a product delivery expert.

Qualifications

  • 8-10+ years of experience in Big 4 Consulting or Strategic Software Delivery within Supply Chain Operations.
  • Proven track record in leading and managing enterprise software implementation projects post-sale.
  • Bachelor's degree required; a Master's degree in a STEM field is preferred.
  • Extensive knowledge of supply chain principles, best practices, and metrics across all core areas, including demand, supply, manufacturing, inventory, and order management.
  • Experience with enterprise IT and software solutions, including ERP systems (Oracle and SAP), cloud/SaaS applications, and business intelligence tools.
  • Familiarity with supply chain, logistics, and planning software, particularly SAP and leading solutions like JDA and Kinaxis.
  • Exceptional customer-facing skills, including communication, project management, and relationship building, with a strong sense of urgency in addressing client needs.
  • Experience in the pharmaceutical or consumer packaged goods sectors is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of AI or data science is a plus.
  • Experience with agile methodologies and project management frameworks.
  • Proficient in drafting proposals and statements of work.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively manage technical teams.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
