About the Role

The International Criminal Court is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Information Desk Clerk to join its team. As a key member of the Public Information and Outreach Section, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to visitors, staff, and the general public.

Key Responsibilities

  • Welcome and assist visitors to the Court, providing information about the Court's proceedings and rules of decorum.
  • Provide general support services to staff and visitors, including information on taxi and public transport services.
  • Act as the first point of contact for general questions from staff members of the Court.
  • Operate the telephone switchboard, responding to queries and connecting calls to the right addressee.
  • Maintain the representative image of the public area of the seat of the Court.

Requirements

  • Diploma of secondary education.
  • A minimum of two years of relevant experience.
  • Excellent customer orientation and hospitality/service approach.
  • Ability to work in a multicultural environment and deal with staff and visitors with tact, diplomacy, and discretion.
  • Proficiency in one of the working languages of the Court (French or English) is required.
