About the Role

The Sales Manager Wholesale will be responsible for further developing the current wholesale and institutional business in Belgium and Luxemburg, building up their own network of business relationships, and analyzing and addressing clients' needs. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of financial markets, financial institutions, and their strategies, as well as excellent communication and presentation skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a sales strategy to grow the wholesale and institutional business in Belgium and Luxemburg
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, including Private Banks, Asset Managers, Independent Asset Managers, and Family Offices
  • Collaborate with the Investment Specialists, Portfolio Management, Marketing, Client Servicing, and Legal & Compliance teams to deliver exceptional client service and drive business growth
  • Stay up-to-date with market trends, competitor activity, and regulatory changes to ensure the business remains competitive and compliant
  • Contribute to the development of new business opportunities and help source, assess, and develop new leads
Requirements
  • At least 5 years of experience in sales, client portfolio management, or a relevant client service-oriented department within the financial industry
  • Strong understanding of financial markets, financial institutions, and their strategies
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Native Dutch speaker, with full professional proficiency in English
  • Ability to present in French is considered a strong plus
