Underwriting & Broking Support Specialist

Our focus is on the international transport industry, consisting of forwarding and logistics companies, ports and terminals, vessel operators, and transport intermediaries. Job DescriptionAs an Underwriting & Broking Support Employee, you will work closely with our team of 4 colleagues and report to the department manager. Your primary responsibilities will include handling English administrative content, drawing up insurance policies, and invoicing. You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with international laws and regulations, insurance conditions, and service level agreements. You will also serve as a substantive discussion partner for our commercial colleagues and provide proactive information.
Some key tasks and responsibilities include:
- Collaborating with other departments to ensure adherence to company policy and protocols.
- Assisting the front office team and supporting internal processes.
- Performing administrative duties such as making reports, premium and claims statistics, providing insurance documentation, booking invoices, and providing administrative support services.
We are looking for an ideal candidate with an associate's degree in business administration or a related field and basic computer literacy skills. Your English language proficiency should be good to excellent, as our documentation is primarily in English. You should be eager to learn, have the ability to work as a team player, and be detail-oriented.
