About the Role:

The Assistant Underwriter will play a key role in the growth and development of the Underwriting department. The focus of this role is to support underwriters in their day-to-day operations, ensuring the smooth processing of insurance applications and policies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Document and process received quotations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with underwriting guidelines.
  • Document and process policies into the Underwriting systems, maintaining data integrity and accuracy.
  • Perform data analysis to identify trends and patterns in insurance applications and claims, including policy settings.
  • Support in compliance queries on an individual risk level, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements.
  • Administrate technical pricing on an individual risk level, ensuring accurate and compliant pricing.
  • Support in data accuracy in underwriting systems and policy documentation, ensuring seamless processing.
  • Ensure compliance with underwriting guidelines and regulations, maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

Requirements:

  • Ideal candidate will be diploma/HBO educated, with a keen eye for detail and a strong understanding of insurance principles.
  • Proficiency in both Dutch and English languages is preferred, with previous experience in the industry being a plus.
  • Enthusiasm and a willingness to learn are essential, as we remain open to candidates from diverse backgrounds.
