About the Role

The Assistant Underwriter will play a key role in the growth and development of the Underwriting department. The focus of this role is to support underwriters in their day-to-day operations, ensuring the smooth processing of insurance applications and policies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process and document received quotations and policies into the Underwriting systems.
  • Perform data analysis to identify trends and patterns in insurance applications and claims.
  • Support compliance queries on individual risk levels and administer technical pricing.
  • Ensure data accuracy in underwriting systems and policy documentation.
  • Comply with underwriting guidelines and regulations.

Requirements

  • Diploma or HBO education.
  • Keen eye for detail.
  • Proficiency in both Dutch and English languages.
  • Previous experience in the industry is a plus.
  • Enthusiasm and eagerness to learn.
