About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Manager Assistant to join our team at Pillows Grand Boutique Hotel Maurits at the Park. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of food quality, service, and hospitality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Restaurant Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the café brasserie, including menu planning, inventory management, and staff supervision.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction, loyalty, and retention.
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to create innovative and delicious dishes that showcase our French and Italian-inspired cuisine.
  • Ensure that all food safety and hygiene standards are met, and that the kitchen and dining areas are maintained to the highest standards.
  • Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team of servers, bartenders, and kitchen staff.
  • Monitor and control labor costs, inventory, and supplies to ensure profitability.
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role in a high-end hotel or restaurant.
  • Proven track record of success in improving customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Excellent knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken).
