Your Responsibilities

  • Engage with various departments to gain a comprehensive understanding of business operations focused on sustainability.
  • Evaluate market dynamics and competitor strategies regarding carbon reduction and sustainability communication.
  • Gather and analyze data to assess the carbon footprint associated with our products.
  • Collaborate with different business units to formulate and implement carbon reduction strategies tailored to their unique operations.
  • Facilitate the execution of sustainable initiatives across the organization.
  • Partner with content and editorial teams to integrate environmental themes into our programming.
  • Enhance internal communications to boost awareness and participation in sustainability efforts among employees.
  • Coordinate with external partners to advance sustainable development projects.
  • Participate in international collaborations through the RTL Group Climate Task Force.
  • Contribute to an agile work environment that promotes change and influences leadership decisions.

Your Qualifications

  • A genuine enthusiasm for sustainability and environmental issues.
  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree, ideally in sustainability, environmental science, or business.
  • A strong interest or experience in the media sector and its sustainability challenges.
  • Excellent analytical skills to identify risks and opportunities in projects and develop actionable plans.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively within a team.
  • A proactive mindset and a solution-oriented approach.
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Availability for a 5-6 month internship period.
