TP Vision is a leading manufacturer of monitors, TVs, and digital signage displays. We serve as an original design manufacturer for top brands and distribute our products worldwide under our own brands AOC and Envision. In addition, we design, produce, and sell Philips-branded monitors, TVs, and AVA products, digital signage displays, and mobile phones through a license agreement with Philips via our subsidiaries TP Vision and MMD.

PPDS is the exclusive provider of Philips professional displays, including digital signage, interactive, and LED displays, as well as professional TVs, worldwide under trademark license from Koninklijke Philips N.V. We combine the Philips brand promise with TPV's manufacturing expertise in displays to bring innovative products to market.

Scope

The Solution Manager LED is responsible for providing timely and high-quality end-to-end product and application support for LED Display Solutions. This includes specialist knowledge in the applications of LED Display Solutions products, configuration of walls, interfaces, devices, and software specific to this business. The role also involves support to customers in the field using our products, performing fast feedback towards product development & Service, and providing 2nd-level field support to B2B customers in the case of technical queries or issues.

Responsibilities

  • Specifying custom LED Display Solutions based on customer requirements.
  • Assisting in designing new or adapting existing solutions to customer-specific applications.
  • Providing presales support for the PPDS EMEA Sales team regarding customer inquiries.
  • Onsite support with customer sign-off when installing custom-built LED Display Solutions.
  • Providing 2nd-level field support to B2B customers in the case of technical queries or issues.
  • Reviewing and providing input towards product CRS.
  • Arranging trials, product evaluation, exhibitions, and training for internal and external people.
  • Organizing and solving field complaints, rework actions in cooperation with the Service department.
  • Keeping track of demo equipment.
  • Monitoring and verifying hardware/software improvements with Product Management and communicating towards customers.
  • Field status reporting on a regular basis.
  • Mentoring all LED sales staff (in the region) on a regular basis.
  • Organizing internal stock and stock for exhibitions.
  • Being involved in testing of new equipment in the test farm in the Ghent office.
  • Living in Northern Europe region.

Education and Related Experience

  • Technical education with about 3-5 years of relevant experience.
  • Knowledge of the LED Display Solutions and LED panel calibration is a must.
  • Knowledge of Novastar hard- and software is a must.
  • Knowledge of the current Signage display and calibration of videowall systems is an advantage.
  • Good knowledge of electronics, basic software & IT (TCP/IP).
  • Knowledge of HTML and web support tools as well as IP network.
  • Familiar with software/hardware applications testing and debugging.
  • Good developed communication skills (English, both verbal and written, other language support is an advantage).
  • Customer-oriented. Team player. Hands-on mentality.
  • A result-driven, proactive approach.
  • Willingness to travel regularly within EMEA (occasional worldwide).
  • Driving license required.
