About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Lead Expert Compliance Private Clients to join our Private Clients business unit in the Netherlands. As a key member of our compliance team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the integrity and trustworthiness of our services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Proactively advise the business on compliance matters related to investment services, including asset management, investment advice, and execution-only services.
  • Analyze risks related to financial products and services within Private Clients, identifying areas for improvement and implementing effective solutions.
  • Maintain the policy framework with a focus on consumer protection, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Support the business in implementing new laws and regulations, including MIFID II, PRIIPs, EMIR, and SFRD.
  • Coach junior and medior Compliance Officers, providing guidance and mentorship to ensure their success.
Requirements
  • At least 10 years of compliance experience in an advisory role at a financial institution or in a consulting role.
  • Academic background in law, economics, or a relevant field.
  • Strong affinity with the entire investment services chain.
  • Excellent command of the Dutch and English languages, both oral and written.
