About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Compliance Officer Private Clients to join our team at Van Lanschot Kempen's Private Clients business unit in the Netherlands. As a Compliance Officer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our business operations are in line with regulatory requirements and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Proactively advise the business on various topics and initiatives related to investment services, including asset management, investment advice, and execution-only services.
  • Analyze risks related to financial products and services within Private Clients, identifying areas for improvement and implementing effective solutions.
  • Maintain the policy framework with a focus on consumer protection, supporting the business with implementation and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Support various activities, such as information requests from regulators, training and awareness programs, compliance reporting, and other initiatives.
Requirements
  • At least 4 years of compliance experience in an advisory role at a financial institution or in a consulting role.
  • An academic background in law, economics, or another relevant field.
  • Strong affinity with the entire investment services chain, including knowledge of European laws and regulations related to investment services.
  • Excellent command of the Dutch and English languages, both oral and written.
