Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Lead Expert Compliance Private Clients to join our team. As a key member of our compliance team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our financial services are delivered in a compliant and regulatory manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coach and mentor junior and mid-level compliance officers to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively.
  • Provide proactive advice to the business on a variety of topics and initiatives related to investment services, including asset management, investment advice, and execution-only services.
  • Analyze risks related to financial products and services within our private banking business.
  • Maintain the policy framework with a particular focus on consumer protection and support the business with implementation.
  • Support various other activities, such as information requests from regulators, training and awareness programs, compliance reporting, and other initiatives.
Requirements
  • At least 10 years of compliance experience in an advisory role at a financial institution or in a consulting role.
  • An academic background in law, economics, or another relevant academic program.
  • Strong affinity with the entire investment services chain.
  • Knowledge of (European) laws and regulations related to investment services, including MIFID II, PRIIPs, EMIR, and SFRD.
  • Excellent command of the Dutch and English languages, both oral and written.
