About the Role

The Associate is responsible for supporting all external prospecting activities within a branch. This involves proactively seeking to infiltrate networks to generate new leads for the branches in the region. The Associate works closely with branch directors, private bankers, sales management, and Marketing&Communications (MarCom) to achieve this goal.

Key Responsibilities

  • Generating new leads through setting up prospect-driven client events in collaboration with MarCom.
  • Participating in these events and ensuring maximum participation of new leads and prospects.
  • Following up with leads and prospects who have not shown up to events to arrange alternative contact times.
  • Transferring qualified leads to private bankers and ensuring regular follow-up on conversion progress.
  • Organizing expertise sessions within membership clubs or partnerships to showcase ABN AMRO's expertise to the right leads and prospects.
  • Ensuring proper follow-up of all leads in the pipeline of private bankers and experts.
  • Coordinating strategies with private bankers to follow up and convert leads to prospects and new clients.
  • Attending weekly meetings with branches in the region to discuss prospecting activity and review new leads.

Requirements

  • Master's degree.
  • Strong commercial skills with a focus on prospecting.
  • Some professional knowledge in banking and credit intermediation within Private Banking and additional training/refresher courses.
  • Technical savvy in banking products and services (processes & systems), investing, and financial planning.
  • Customer orientation.
