  • The Role

  • We are seeking an experienced Change Manager to play a key role in leading and implementing change initiatives across our organization. As a Change Manager, you will focus on the people side of change, enabling successful and sustainable change by minimizing disruption and maximizing benefits for all stakeholders.

    Key activities include creation and execution of change management strategies and plans, facilitating, coaching, and guiding stakeholders and teams through successful change journeys.

    Initial assignments include supporting the further implementation of PLM systems and supporting other key initiatives within Damen Naval. You will work closely with management and departments of engineering, manufacturing, IT, and HR.

  • Key Accountabilities
    • Acts as 'sparring partner' for product- and line managers / functional leads and project managers in assessing change impact and change readiness;
    • Advises, designs, and agrees the change strategy and plan with project leadership using standardized methods and frameworks;
    • Responsible for defining, driving, and monitoring the change deliverables;
    • Coordinates and executes communication activities and reviews and delivers the required communication materials;
    • Identifying people, risks, and issues that may impact success of the project, escalating and working with the appropriate people to resolve;
    • Regular and timely reporting of change status to project steering committee;
    • Identify change management training needs and coach and train project teams and management;
    • Coach or consult leaders and project teams for smaller initiatives;
    • Ensure re-use of best practices and approaches. Furthermore, contribute to building and maintaining with the change management community.
