Mechatronics Master Graduation Internship: Industrial Transformation of Motion Control Platform

Introduction
We are seeking a highly motivated master's student in Mechatronics or Systems and Control to join our team as a graduation intern. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to design control strategies and software for Motion Control, working closely with our experienced engineers.
Background Information
Our company, ASML, is a leading supplier of lithography machines for the semiconductor industry. We are currently transitioning to a new motion control platform, which presents a unique challenge for integration, communication, and capabilities. The successful candidate will play a key role in assessing the capabilities and functionalities of the new platform and finding solutions to match and improve current performance.
Your Assignment
As a graduation intern, you will be responsible for gathering and understanding the current usage requirements of the motion control platform. You will then deep dive into the new platform, performing an assessment of its capabilities and functionalities. Additionally, you will develop software and applications for motion control, designing and building a control system to assess performance.
Your Profile
To be a match for this internship, you should have:
- A master's degree in Mechatronics or Systems and Control
- Experience in designing control strategies and software for Motion Control
- Proficiency in tooling like LabVIEW and Python
- A hands-on mentality and a drive to learn
- Good communication skills in English
This is a graduation internship for 5 days a week with a duration of 9 months. The start date is as soon as possible.
