About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Workforce Coordinator to join our team at GXO Logistics, Inc. in Heerlen. As a Workforce Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our logistics processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement workforce planning strategies to meet business needs
  • Manage and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to optimize workforce productivity
  • Collaborate with employment agencies and internal departments to ensure seamless communication and planning
  • Identify and address schedule deviations, absenteeism, and other operational issues
  • Develop and implement training programs to enhance the skills and competencies of Flex workers
  • Monitor and report on KPIs, including productivity, attendance, and training metrics
  • Work closely with Warehouse Managers and HR Department to ensure effective communication and coordination
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations, including the Working Hours Act and the Law on the Balanced Labor Market

Requirements

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and strategically
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders
  • Proven experience in workforce planning, management, or a related field
  • Strong knowledge of Excel and other productivity tools
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of energy and flexibility
  • Fluency in English, with a good command of Dutch
