About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Circle Lead to join our team at ING, responsible for leading a cross-border team and managing both internal and external stakeholders. As Circle Lead, you will be responsible for the Accounting processes, timely and accurate preparation of P&L and Balance Sheets, and ensuring compliance with regulations and good financial practice.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of Accounting experts to deliver effective and efficient processes and services.
  • Develop and embed controls to safeguard compliance with relevant policies and standards.
  • Manage stakeholders, including internal and external teams, to ensure seamless collaboration and communication.
  • Ensure timely and accurate financial information, and contribute to the overall financial well-being and success of the company.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness of services.
Requirements
  • Master's Degree in Finance or related field.
  • At least 10 years of experience in Financial Accounting and Reporting in the financial service industry.
  • Experience in policy and regulation, including IFRS and banking laws.
  • Strong leadership and direction skills, with ability to motivate and empower team members.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
