Circle Lead

As a Circle Lead for Financial Markets & Group Treasury Accounting Services, you will be responsible for leading a cross-border team and managing both internal and external stakeholders. Your primary goal will be to ensure the timely and accurate preparation of the P&L and Balance Sheets for the entities in scope of COO Finance.
Key Responsibilities- Lead a team of Accounting experts to deliver effective and efficient processes and services.
- Develop and embed controls that safeguard the compliance of relevant policies and standards.
- Manage stakeholders and ensure the team is empowered to thrive and perform at their best.
- Report hierarchically to the Super Circle Lead Financial Accounting.
The Financial Markets & Group Treasury Accounting Services team focuses on the execution and controls within the Accounting & Reporting domain. The team is responsible for all accounting processes related to a wide range of Financial Markets & Group Treasury products offered by ING.
Requirements- Current residency in the Netherlands.
- Masters Degree (University / Postgraduate) and ~10 years of experience in the area of expertise.
- Relevant experience of planning and managing resources to deliver predetermined objectives (~5 years).
- A salary tailored to your qualities and experience.
- 12-month contract with view to extend to permanency afterwards.
- 40 hour workweek.
- Individual leave: 24+2 individual holiday days based on 36 hr workweek.
- Diversity leave: 3 days per year (1,5 paid, 1,5 unpaid).
- CSR days: up to 2 days per year to actively engage in society by volunteering.
- 13th month salary.
- 8% Holiday payment.
