Job Title: IE Specialist
Job Summary:
The IE Specialist plays a crucial role in supporting the Industrial Engineering function at UPS. This position is responsible for gathering and analyzing data to inform work measurement and operational planning activities. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate complex ideas effectively.
Responsibilities:
- Gather and analyze data to develop work measurement standards.
- Maintain accurate records of data and ensure compliance with standards.
- Conduct audits to identify areas for improvement and develop action plans.
- Assess the impact of forecasts on operating plans and develop recommendations.
- Provide ad-hoc reporting and analysis to support business decisions.
- Develop and maintain forecasts, operating plans, and tracking spreadsheets.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
- Experience with data analysis and reporting tools.
