Are you a skilled professional looking for a challenging role in application management? We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Functional Application Manager to join our team at Damen Naval.
About the RoleAs a Functional Application Manager, you will be responsible for managing functional application activities, addressing operational issues, ensuring data integrity, and collaborating with solution providers for enhancements. You will also contribute to strategic application development by providing expertise, verifying specifications, and shaping the roadmap for ongoing improvements.
Key Responsibilities- Supports application use: Enhances (engineering) applications for the business, improves existing and new applications, and ensures smooth application execution.
- Tests enhancements: Develops training materials and guides, bridges the gap between IT and business with knowledge of business processes and IT capabilities.
- Experience in application maintenance, preferably within a technical, complex engineering or manufacturing environment.
- Experience in Product Lifecycle Management.
- Bachelor's or Master's level in IT or other relevant discipline.
- Experience with 3DX Dassault Systems or SAP is a plus.
- Good command of the Dutch & English language (written & verbal).
- Permanent EU citizenship and passport are both required.
