We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented intern to join our team at ASML, a global leader in the development of lithography machines. As a Physics and Engineering Intern, you will play a crucial role in optimizing the performance of our Level Sensor, a critical component of our machines.
Background Information
Our Level Sensor is a key component of our lithography machines, responsible for measuring the height of wafers with high accuracy. To achieve this, we are exploring various concepts and technologies, and we need your expertise to help us optimize the sensor's performance.
Your Assignment
Your primary responsibility will be to explore and optimize the Level Sensor's properties, including its simulation and modeling. You will work closely with our team to determine the wafer height map with an accuracy of 1 nm. Your tasks will include:
- Exploring ways to optimize the Level Sensor's properties
- Developing and implementing simulation and modeling techniques
- Determining the wafer height map with 1 nm accuracy
- Collaborating with the project team to ensure seamless integration
Your Profile
To be a successful candidate, you should have:
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physics, Mathematics, or Engineering
- Results-oriented and pragmatic attitude
- Experience with programming and data analysis using MATLAB and Zemax
- Affinity with optics and physics
- Excellent communication skills in English (verbal and written)
