About the Role

The Prospective Industry Sales Manager at Marel is a key position that requires a unique blend of technical and commercial expertise. As a member of our sales team, you will be responsible for guiding the sales process from quotation to order fulfillment, working closely with various departments to ensure seamless execution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs and preferences to create tailored solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales Engineering, to provide expert technical guidance and support.
  • Manage and monitor budgets, ensuring accurate forecasting and financial reporting.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, leveraging industry knowledge and market insights to drive growth.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor analysis, and market developments to inform sales strategies.

Requirements

  • Completed bachelor's degree in a technical and/or commercial field.
  • Proven experience in a commercial, coordinating, and/or technical role, preferably in a similar industry.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with customers and colleagues.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, with a willingness to take initiative and drive results.
  • Proficiency in English and Dutch, with a third language a plus.
