We are seeking a highly skilled Chapter Lead to join our Enterprise Data Assets Engineering team at ABN AMRO. As a Chapter Lead, you will be responsible for leading a team of Reliability Engineers and working closely with stakeholders to ensure the smooth operation of our IT systems.
Your primary focus will be on mentoring your team members on technical craftsmanship, actively participating in knowledge sharing, and ensuring proper alignment with stakeholders. You will also work in a DevOps team, creating a good atmosphere for innovation, and be responsible for the HR processes to facilitate employee influx, development, performance, and outflux.
Key Responsibilities- Mentor team members on technical craftsmanship
- Participate in knowledge sharing and join triangles, circles, communities, and events
- Ensure proper alignment with stakeholders from IT and Business
- Work in a DevOps team and create a good atmosphere for innovation
- On a strategic level, ensure everything continues to work flawlessly, mentor your team, execute and experiment with technical assessments, do interviews, and ensure new employees are properly onboarded
- Take care of HR processes to facilitate employee influx, development, performance, and outflux
- Experience with different Azure Services (Azure Data Factory, App Services, and Virtual Machine, Infrastructure as a code) and platform Engineering
- Experience in designing, implementing, testing, and deploying services with a focus on high availability and low latency
- Knowledge on how to monitor and manage applications
- Knowledge on Tower Dashboard and different operational KPI
- Good understanding of patching, vulnerabilities, and security of applications
- Must have an operational mindset and help the team ensure higher availability of applications and meet defined SLAs
- Comfortable with coaching people and have good people skills
- 5+ years of experience
- Nice to have migration and mainframe experience
- Gross monthly salary based on a 36-hour work week, including vacation pay and benefit budget
- Benefit Budget of 11% of your salary
- Five weeks of vacation per year, with the option to purchase an additional four weeks per year
- Personal development Budget of €1,000 per year, which can be accumulated up to €3,000
