About the Role:

Pentair is seeking a talented Process Development Engineer to join our team in Venlo, NL. As a key member of our Global Business Unit, you will be responsible for developing and optimizing existing processes, as well as inventing creative and innovative solutions for existing or new processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop new processes and products, and improve existing ones to meet the needs of our customers.
  • Manage the development trajectory of new processes and products, including developing and adjusting project schedules and budgets.
  • Conduct basic research to obtain knowledge about new and existing processes.
  • Collaborate with project teams and relevant departments to ensure the successful realization of projects.
  • Source suppliers and deliver specifications for purchased products and technical judgments of offers received.
  • Provide aftercare services to solve problems related to processes or products.
  • Support the Sales and Operations departments with technical judgment of installation parts, energy and mass balances, and participation in technical reviews.

Requirements:

  • BSc or MSc degree in Process Technology or Chemical Engineering.
  • 2+ years of experience as an Engineer in a Development, R&D, Test, or Process environment.
  • Knowledge of Project Management.
  • Mastering Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to read technical drawings and share knowledge.
  • Knowledge of process simulation tools, e.g., ChemCad/Aspen.
  • Knowledge of HAZOP's and LOPA is an advantage.
  • English language skills (good speaking and writing).
