About the Role

We are seeking a Quality Health Safety Environment Manager to join our team in Assen, Netherlands. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for leading cultural and behavioral change, driving best practices, and nurturing an environment that prioritizes high standards of working.

Your Responsibilities

  • Engage with manual workers, managers, and suppliers on Quality, Environmental, and Health and Safety matters.
  • Conduct risk assessments on manufacturing and processing equipment.
  • Develop and maintain clear guidance for all employees.
  • Provide reporting and guidance to the wider business.
  • Deliver toolbox talks and training as required.
  • Maintain our Quality Management System.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, preferably in mechanical or production.
  • Previous experience in a similar role.
  • Demonstrated understanding of QHSE management systems, laws, and regulations.
  • Experience in developing and maintaining ISO systems, implementing change initiatives, and developing quality improvement programs.
  • Understanding of common manufacturing and processing equipment, and associated risks.
  • Good IT literacy, experience in maintaining quality systems and management information.
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams and build relationships.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Fluent in English and Dutch.
  • Experience within Chemical or Machinery industries is advantageous.
  • NEBOSH or HVK Certified (nice to have).
  • Knowledge of SAP (nice to have).
