End-to-End Service Delivery Manager

We are looking for an experienced End-to-End Service Delivery Manager to join our team in the Transported by Maersk Europe Operations organisation. As part of the Service Fulfilment team, this role is responsible for enabling cost-efficient and smooth cargo operations for our customers' cargo to and from all vessel calls, both mainliner and feeder vessels, carrying Maersk Line cargo.

This position is part of the Transported by Maersk Europe Operations (TbM Operations), Rotterdam office. TbM Europe Operations is responsible for vessel schedules, allocation management, VSA coordination, port productivity, procuring and controlling container yard, port expenses and foreign feeder costs, load and discharge processes, equipment maintenance and repair, intermodal transport, equipment positioning and evacuation.

Main Responsibilities

  • Manage the load, discharge and transshipment-processes for the ports within scope to ensure seamless cargo operations.
  • Develop and execute operational strategies to minimize disruptions.
  • Pro-actively resolve load list challenges and improve upstream processes to increase load list accuracy.
  • Analyse root causes of unfavourable costs and implement cost-saving initiatives across the TbM Europe Operations teams.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by delivering cargo as per promise.
  • BUILD strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to drive down cost, improve product and optimize processes.
  • Closely work with area commercial teams to meet and exceed customer expectations.

  • Passionate about vessel/terminal operations, curious to learn and ambitious to grow.
  • Experience in operations is preferred, a bachelor's degree or higher is required.
