About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Analyst to join our Capital Management team within Group Treasury at ING Netherlands. As a key member of the team, you will play a crucial role in optimizing ING's capital and debt position to meet regulatory requirements while supporting business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and manage ING's capital and debt position to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize ING's capital and debt structure.
  • Collaborate with other departments within Group Treasury to execute market transactions and secure the capital supply necessary for implementing strategic initiatives.
  • Advise the Board on dividend policy, capital allocation, contingency planning, cost of capital, and other strategic priorities.
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks and impacts on ING's capital and debt position.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in finance or econometrics with above-average academic grades.
  • At least 8 years of work experience in Risk Management or Finance.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and experience of running projects.
  • Knowledge of database and basic programming skills.
  • Knowledge of ING systems (MASS, Vortex) is required.
  • IT-savvy and proficient in MS Office (especially MS Excel).
  • Knowledge of risk models would be a plus.
