As an Operations Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring efficient service execution, capacity planning, and implementing change and improvement processes across the entire operation. You will collaborate with various stakeholders to avoid silo-thinking and drive overall company performance targets.
Key responsibilities include:
- Ensuring services are executed efficiently and at the required qualitative and quantitative level;
- Capacity planning (staff, materials) in the short- and medium-term building strategy for long-term staff development;
- Implementation of change and improvement processes across the entire operation;
- Ensuring collaboration between all parties in the entire order-to-cash process and avoid silo-thinking;
- Total Cost ownership for Warehouse and Operations;
- Leading, developing, and delivering performance improvement plans ensuring the achievement of budgets and overall company performance targets.
Requirements include:
- Bachelor or Master degree (in for example: Logistics, Business Administration, or Engineering)
- 5-7 years' experience in an operations environment;
- Analytical and strategic thinking with good business acumen and the ability to think from the 'customers' perspective;
- Extensive demonstrable experience in a contract logistics environment;
- Strong financial knowledge covering budget forecasting.
