Strategic Procurement Specialist

We are currently seeking a proactive and experienced Operational Buyer to join our Procurement team.



Responsibilities

  • Create purchase orders and manage contracting processes.
  • Expedite orders to ensure timely delivery.
  • Proactively address disruptions including late deliveries, quality issues, and invoice discrepancies for seamless operations.
  • Establish contracts and collaborate with internal stakeholders to clarify and translate purchasing requirements.
  • Execute purchasing tasks within allocated budgets, including specification collection and purchase order generation.
  • Manage order confirmations, invoices, and resolve delivery or quality mismatches efficiently.
  • Drive improvements in on-time delivery performance with existing parts and components suppliers.


Requirements

  • Possess 3-5 years of hands-on experience in procurement, demonstrating a track record of successful sourcing and contracting.
  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Business Management, Sales, or a closely related field, showcasing a solid foundation in business principles.
  • Exhibit robust communication and interpersonal skills, pivotal for fostering productive relationships and partnerships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Excel in attention to detail, adept at meticulously overseeing multiple tasks concurrently to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Command a fundamental understanding of procurement methodologies and best practices, coupled with a keen insight into supply chain dynamics.
  • Proficiency in utilizing procurement tools and software, including SAP and Microsoft Office Suite, is highly preferred and advantageous.
  • Bring a proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making, essential for navigating complex procurement challenges and optimizing operational outcomes.
