We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Engineer Busbar to join our team at Siemens in The Hague. As a key member of our global competence center for Data Centers, you will be responsible for designing rail channel systems that handle critical energy distribution in data centers.
As a Busbar Engineer, you will work on dynamic and multifaceted projects, handling electrical engineering calculations, developing technical designs in a 3D environment, and resolving issues related to layout, component selection, fire safety, mechanical interfacing, electrical auxiliary systems, and cabling.
You will also coordinate with colleagues on the design of low-voltage distributors, medium-voltage systems, or E-houses, review technical basic and detailed designs, and maintain proactive communication with customers, considering commercial aspects.
Additionally, you will organize and attend factory acceptance tests (FAT) with customers, prepare documentation, provide office support during assembly and commissioning, manage punch lists, and ensure smooth project closure.
We are looking for a candidate with a strong background in electrical engineering, ideally with 5 years of experience in an international project setting. You should have accuracy, critical thinking, and broad technical interest, as well as the ability to work independently and in a team.
Flexibility, practicality, and a results-oriented mindset are essential, along with strong communication skills and engagement. Excellent English skills, both written and spoken, are required, and Dutch is an advantage.
We offer a gross monthly salary of up to €4,500, a 13th-month payment, prorated periodically, and 8.33% holiday allowance, calculated over 12 months' salary. You will also receive a pension Plus plan, 5% ADV allowance, and a net amount of €750 for setting up your home office.
As a seconded employee through Yacht, you will have the opportunity to work with us for a year, with the possibility of being considered for a permanent position at Siemens after this period.
