About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Solar Energy Innovations Manager to lead our research group in the development of new solar power generation technologies. This is an exciting opportunity for a talented individual who is passionate about renewable energy and wants to make a significant impact on the energy transition.

The Challenge

As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for inspiring our professionals and making the most of their talents in challenging R&D projects. You will help shape our strategy, guide propositions, and inspire your colleagues to create innovative solutions that meet the needs of our clients.

About Our Team

Our Solar Technology & Application research group brings together 50 professionals working on innovative solar energy solutions. This diverse team works with state-of-the-art research facilities, including a clean room, and communicates in both English and Dutch. As a research manager, you will play a critical role in creating a pleasant and productive working environment where everyone feels heard and valued.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the Solar Technology & Application research group in the development of new solar power generation technologies
  • Inspire our professionals and make the most of their talents in challenging R&D projects
  • Help shape our strategy, guide propositions, and inspire your colleagues
  • Create a pleasant and productive working environment where everyone feels heard and valued
  • Ensure that the high-tech infrastructure works efficiently and carefully monitor the progress of projects

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A background in the natural sciences or a related field
  • Experience leading teams and fostering cooperation in a complex, high-tech R&D environment
  • A good command of English and preferably also Dutch (or the motivation to learn Dutch quickly)
