About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Chapter Lead to join our Reliability and Infrastructure Engineering team at ABN AMRO. As a Chapter Lead, you will be responsible for leading a team of engineers and ensuring the delivery of high-quality IT solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Mentor and guide team members on technical craftsmanship and foster a culture of continuous learning and development.
  • Participate in knowledge sharing and gaining by joining triangles, circles, communities, and events.
  • Align with stakeholders from IT and Business to ensure proper communication and collaboration.
  • Work in a DevOps team and create a positive atmosphere for innovation.
  • On a strategic level, ensure that everything continues to work flawlessly, mentor your team, execute and experiment with technical assessments, do interviews, and ensure that new employees are properly onboarded.
  • Take care of HR processes to facilitate all aspects relating to the influx, development, performance, and outflux of employees.
  • Create an attack plan with engineers to stay abreast of regulatory aspects and KPIs related to the OARs we create and maintain.
About the Team

The Chapter Reliability and Infrastructure Engineering team will have approximately 6-8 members with various levels of experience. You will be working with some team members also in your team. You will be the lead of the chapter, guiding, mentoring, and coaching members on various aspects.

Requirements
  • Positive and proactive mentality with ownership mindset.
  • Strong knowledge of Tower Dashboard and operational KPIs.
  • Experience in adjusting technical implementation to match regulatory and compliance expectations.
  • Experience in designing, implementing, testing, and deploying services with a focus on high availability and low latency.
  • Knowledge on how to monitor and manage applications.
  • Experience in working with Azure Cloud in large-scale environments with complex network/infrastructure setup.
  • Comfortable with coaching people and good people skills.
  • 5+ years of experience.
