Job Title: Senior Manager Chart of Accounts

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Manager Chart of Accounts to lead our global Chart of Accounts and consolidation team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing a global Chart of Accounts that meets SABIC's accounting standards and policies, as well as ensuring compliance with IFRS requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement a global Chart of Accounts that meets SABIC's accounting standards and policies.
  • Ensure compliance with IFRS requirements and ensure that the Chart of Accounts is fit for purpose.
  • Lead the global consolidation team to deliver a fully automated consolidation tool that meets SABIC's legal, statutory, and tax consolidation needs.
  • Collaborate with upstream teams to identify and resolve issues related to consolidation and Chart of Accounts.
  • Participate in projects impacting the Chart of Accounts and reporting in SABIC.

Requirements:

  • Expert knowledge of process and system, with the ability to develop global policy and guidelines.
  • Holistic knowledge of the entire finance cycle from accounting to controllership to business performance management.
  • Strong project leadership skills, with the ability to deliver success and drive results for projects that generate significant global impacts.
  • University degree in Finance or Accounting.
  • Ability to work in a diverse, multicultural, and hybrid environment.
  • Good knowledge of IFRS.
  • Proven track record in transaction service processes and best practice.
  • Strong communication and analytical thinking skills.
  • Former SAP FICO consultant can be advantageous.
  • 9+ years of experience in management position, with experience in managing a global team.
