About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Reefer Manager to join our Ocean Freight team in the Benelux region. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving the growth of our reefer business, developing and implementing sales strategies, and building strong relationships with local vendors and customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a subject matter expert to support the local development of a profitable reefer business
  • Ensure effective supplier relationships with local vendors, including ocean, haulage, and handling providers
  • Directly lead the development of key local reefer clients
  • Develop country-specific sales strategies for reefer clients
  • Achieve national budget for reefer cargo
  • Drive ad-hoc projects and general product development

Requirements

  • In-depth knowledge of cold chain transportation, with 3-5 years' experience in a related position, typically a freight forwarder or ocean carrier
  • Awareness of local country commercial situations regarding reefer opportunities
  • Previous exposure to the healthcare industry from a logistics perspective
  • Result-oriented and customer-focused
  • Experience driving commercial results in a network-oriented industry
  • Detail-oriented, able to keep multiple separate processes and projects moving
  • Develops long-lasting relationships with providers, colleagues, and customers
