Job Title: Country Financial Operations Manager


At Carrier, we are looking for a highly skilled Country Financial Operations Manager to support our international business operations.


As a Country Financial Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial activities of our operations in multiple countries, ensuring compliance with US GAAP, local GAAP, and Corporate Policies. You will work closely with our Global Tax, internal and external auditors, and service providers to ensure all financial and internal control matters are identified, communicated, and resolved.


The ideal candidate will have strong experience in financial control and accounting, preferably within a European environment, and a deep understanding of US GAAP and local GAAP. You will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage and influence internal and external stakeholders effectively.


In this role, you will have the opportunity to engage in key projects and strategic initiatives, supporting Business Unit Controllership Leaders with key initiatives and BU focus items. Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversight and coordination of control activities across multiple entities
  • Management of closing activities, reconciliations, statutory reporting, and tax reporting
  • Ensuring compliance with external reporting and statutory compliance matters
  • Maintenance of a full control environment for SOX reportable entities
  • Collaboration and communication with third-party shared services and other service providers
  • Identification, communication, and resolution of financial and internal control matters
