Payroll Improvement Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Payroll Improvement Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our global payroll team, you will be responsible for improving our payroll processes and ensuring compliance with local labor laws and regulations.
In this role, you will work closely with our global payroll team, functional and technical experts from HR, IT, and Finance to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to our payroll processes. You will also be responsible for analyzing operational KPIs and effectiveness to identify opportunities for improvement.
As a Payroll Improvement Specialist, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, including global payroll improvement initiatives, process standardization, and compliance with local labor laws and regulations.
Key Responsibilities- Improve payroll processes and ensure compliance with local labor laws and regulations
- Work closely with global payroll team, functional and technical experts from HR, IT, and Finance to identify areas for improvement and implement changes
- Analyze operational KPIs and effectiveness to identify opportunities for improvement
- Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs
- Provide training and support to payroll colleagues on new or adjusted processes and ways of working
- Liaise with local payroll colleagues, the Payroll Capability Owner, the Payroll project manager, the Tax function, payroll providers, IT, HR, and other teams within the FSSC organization
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in international payroll
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or equivalent level of work experience
- Fiscal knowledge and experience working with global payroll providers
- Excellent command of the English language, other languages are a plus
- Ability to zoom in (nitty-gritty details for local payrolls) and zoom out (to holistic, global process level)
- Advanced analytical skills, such as using advanced Excel knowledge to analyze data between different HR and payroll systems
- Communication and presentation skills, both verbally and in writing
This position offers a competitive salary range of €4,000 to €5,500 gross per month (excluding 8% holiday allowance). Through exceeding performance expectations, you even have the possibility to grow outside this scale.
