Job Mission

The Finance Transformation Office is responsible for driving the finance transformation by translating strategic priorities into a clearly defined end-state, roadmap, and change portfolio. The portfolio managers, supported by the senior project management officer, manage the change portfolio, and the transformation leads execute selected strategic initiatives. Change and communication managers ensure the momentum and aligned communication throughout the organization.

The Portfolio Management team orchestrates the transformation agenda and governance of the initiation and delivery of the change portfolio. It creates transparency, secures controls, and coordinates decision-making. When required, trade-off conversations in case of scarcity (prioritization) are facilitated.

To support this, we cascade ASML's methodologies, tools, and techniques to the relevant users.

Role and Responsibilities
  • Cascading the project management methodology in combination, when applicable, with the agile way of working;
  • Quality controls to secure that the deployed tools & techniques are properly being used by the project leaders, epic owner, and project management officers;
  • The reporting process: complete, consistent, and up-to-date reporting on the status of the change portfolio is available;
  • The resource management process: to drive the claim, allocation, and escalation process within Finance;
  • Supporting the annual and quarterly (re) prioritization and (re) balancing of the finance change portfolio.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or Master's degree, preferably in the field of Finance & Accounting;
  • (Agile) project management certified;
  • At least 8+ years of working experience as a (senior) project management officer or practical experience as a project manager in a complex, multi-disciplinary environment.

  • Proficient communicator, being able to influence without hierarchical power, creative in managing a large and diverse range of stakeholders;
  • Maintains personal effectiveness and people focus under pressure, high speed of change, and uncertainty;
  • Ability to guide, coach, and advise at operational and tactical levels to effect sustainable change and improve the project and process maturity level of the organization;
  • Team player, enjoys working in multidisciplinary and multicultural teams with the ability to work independently;
  • Hands-on mentality, takes ownership, and gets things done.
