Job Title: HRIS Functional Application Specialist

Are you an experienced professional looking for a challenging role in HRIS? Do you have a strong background in HR and IT systems? We are seeking a skilled HRIS Functional Application Specialist to join our team at GXO Logistics, Inc.

Job Summary:

The HRIS Functional Application Specialist will be responsible for configuring and managing various HR systems, including Protime and Visma. This role will involve identifying the needs of management and HR colleagues, asking questions, and translating the needs into an (automation) solution.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Configurating and managing various HR systems, including Protime and Visma.
  • Identifying the needs of management and HR colleagues, asking questions, and translating the needs into an (automation) solution.
  • Tackling HR (system) projects together with your HR colleagues in the fields of recruitment & selection, time registration, talent development, and employment conditions, advising on how systems can support these areas.
  • Managing the various HR applications functionally; handling day-to-day management as well as the further development of new functionalities in the applications.
  • Integrating these improvements into the HR work descriptions and processes within the department.
  • Supporting the (key) users of the applications and answering support questions from employees throughout the organization.
  • Contributing to and developing HR (policy) topics that go beyond just automation.
Requirements:
  • HBO working and thinking level with at least 2 years of experience in a similar position.
  • Strong skills in Excel and preferably some experience with Visma, Protime, PowerBI, and/or SD Worx.
  • Meticulous work ethic, performing well under pressure, and flexibility.
  • Perfect command of English and Dutch on at least level B1.
  • Basic knowledge of HR laws and regulations.
