Finance Intern

Are you looking for a challenging and rewarding internship in the finance department of a dynamic hotel group? We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Finance Intern to join our team in Amsterdam.

About the Role

As a Finance Intern, you will assist in the business control and accounting of our six hotels in the Netherlands. You will work closely with our Hotel Business Controllers to prepare business control analyses and presentations, and will be responsible for working on assigned projects related to cost control within the Dutch region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare business control analyses and presentations under the supervision of the Hotel Business Controllers
  • Work on assigned projects related to cost control within the Dutch region
  • Develop new ideas and improvements to drive the effectiveness, quality, and efficiency of our hotels
  • Support with daily accounting tasks, including income audit, purchase to pay, and order to cash
  • Assist with the month-end closing process and ensure deadlines are met
Requirements
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Ability to stay up-to-date with the latest trends in finance and hospitality
  • Flexibility to travel to our hotels in the Netherlands
  • Fluent English communication skills
  • Interest in the hospitality industry and a willingness to learn
