The RoleWe are seeking a highly motivated and skilled individual to join our team as an intern or graduate in the field of Structural Hull Monitoring. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects related to hydro-structural subjects, including the design and integration of Hull Monitoring Systems, creating tools for post-processing Structural Hull Monitoring data, and predicting sea state parameters via Hull Monitoring Systems.
Key AccountabilitiesThe ideal candidate will be responsible for planning and executing their research project, delivering a detailed in-depth analysis of their research problem, and communicating the results and conclusions to other departments. The successful candidate will also have the opportunity to work with multiple stakeholders and take responsibility for their own planning and project management.
Skills and ExperienceThe perfect candidate for this internship or graduation project will have a strong background in mechanical engineering, marine engineering, aerospace engineering, or naval architecture. They will also have experience with simulation tools, such as Openfoam and FEM tools, and be proficient in programming languages, such as Python and MATLAB. Additionally, the candidate will have good communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
