Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly motivated and skilled individual to join our team as a research assistant in the field of structural hull monitoring. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting research and analysis on the development of advanced naval vessels, with a focus on the use of digital twins and structural hull monitoring systems.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct research and analysis on the development of advanced naval vessels
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to develop and implement new methodologies for structural hull monitoring
- Contribute to the development of digital twin models and simulations
- Assist in the testing and validation of structural hull monitoring systems
- Master's degree in a relevant field, such as mechanical engineering, marine engineering, or naval architecture
- Strong background in hydromechanics and ship structures
- Experience with simulation tools, such as OpenFOAM and ANSYS
- Proficiency in programming languages, such as Python and MATLAB
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
