Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Staff Test Engineer to join our team at Renesas Electronics Corporation. As a key member of our Analog and Connectivity Business Unit, you will play a critical role in driving the test development of state-of-the-art Sensors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop innovative and efficient test strategies for mixed-signal ICs in collaboration with design teams and Design for Test Department.
  • Design and develop software and hardware for automated test systems.
  • Support design verification and silicon characterization in cooperation with design team and product engineering.
  • Implement, correlate, and release reliable test solutions at OSATs and support mass production ramp.
  • Maintain and improve production test setups during product lifetime.
  • Drive technical innovation in the department.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to junior staff members.
Qualifications
  • 7+ years of experience in test engineering with a strong analog circuit background.
  • Familiarity with ATE tester platforms (e.g. Teradyne J750, Advantest 93K, iFlex, and uFlex).
  • Knowledge of analog and mixed-signal circuitry, device physics, test methodology, and DFT.
  • Experience with common lab test equipment (DC power supply, oscilloscope, spectrum analyzers, multi-meters, etc.).
  • Strong programming skills in writing and debugging test programs.
  • Experience in semiconductor test methodologies.
  • Robustness of test solutions with knowledge of GRR.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • A good team player with experience in fast-paced, dynamic work environments.
Education
  • BS in Electrical/Electronic Engineering.
  • MS in Electrical/Electronic Engineering preferred.
