The Role

We are seeking a Presales Consultant to provide technical support for our Capital Integrated Electrical Systems Development product line. As a key member of our team, you will contribute to the success of our product specialists and account managers by increasing the deployment of Capital software.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver expertise in the application of the Capital portfolio, providing Presales support to customers throughout the EMEA region.
  • Specialize in Electrical and Harness Design, understanding and contributing to the strategy of the Capital solution in different markets such as automotive, aerospace, and industrial applications.
  • Assist clients in the evaluation process, helping sales teams determine strategies by matching our software solutions to the customer's needs through analysis and deployment.
  • Perform demonstrations of the solution and provide technical support to customers through training and problem-solving.
  • Work with product development to communicate customer needs, enabling the development of new technology and enhancements to the Capital solution.

Requirements

  • Degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with customers.
  • Presales experience is not essential; industry experience (e.g., Electrical Engineer, Harness Engineer) and a self-starter/sales-oriented mindset are valuable.
  • Ability to communicate with different levels, including project and department leaders, as well as executives/C-Level.
  • Deliver compelling, well-structured, value-based demonstrations.
  • Experience with Electrical Design software, such as Capital, Capital Essentials, Saber ES Designer, Zuken, or Vector PREEvision.
  • Experience with Mechanical CAD products (preferably Siemens NX, CATIA V5, 3DX, SolidEdge, or Solidworks) is an advantage.
  • Experience in the aerospace and defense, automotive, or heavy equipment sectors is an advantage.
