Our client, a leading export-focused manufacturing company based in the Netherlands, is seeking a highly skilled Construction Project Lead to join their team.

About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and experienced professional to oversee the delivery of construction projects from pre-construction to post-construction. As a Construction Project Lead, you will be responsible for creating project schedules, assessing requirements, reviewing contracts, and selecting subcontractors.

You will also be responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring adherence to schedules and budgets, managing site logistics, maintaining safety standards, and coordinating with stakeholders.

In addition, you will handle warranty work, close accounts, address deficiencies, and demobilize the site.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience working in a similar role within the construction industry, experience working with sub-contractors, a Mechanical or Civil Engineering qualification, and full familiarity with all European Health & Safety Regulations.

Responsibilities
  • Pre-Construction Management: Creating project schedules, assessing requirements, reviewing contracts, and selecting subcontractors.
  • Construction Management: Overseeing daily operations, ensuring adherence to schedules and budgets, managing site logistics, maintaining safety standards, and coordinating with stakeholders.
  • Post Construction Management: Handling warranty work, closing accounts, addressing deficiencies, and demobilizing the site.
  • Responsible for all activities on site.
  • Oversee the management of the installation process.
Requirements
  • A minimum 10 years of relevant experience working in a similar role within the construction industry.
  • Experience working with sub-contractors.
  • Mechanical or Civil Engineering qualification.
  • Fully familiar with all European Health & Safety Regulations.
  • Competent in Excel and Project Management IT Tools.
