Salary

We offer a competitive salary range for this position, estimated between $70,000 and $90,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.

Job Description

The Senior Accountant will be involved in accounting activities, preparing the balance sheet and profit and loss account. You'll perform pre/post-closing journal entries, related activities, and reconciliations in the general ledger.

You'll review and manage Accounts Payable process, applying relevant accounting principles and tax treatments. This includes credit card and cost reimbursement.

  • Prepare and monitor monthly cost allocations and recharges in intercompany accounts.
  • Prepare ledger accounting, including review of controls of daily activities.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements to meet deadlines.
  • Monitor financial records to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Prepare and fill VAT and corporation tax returns.
  • Implement accounting and financial policies.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, preferably Master's.
  • At least three years' experience in an accountant role or similar.
  • Knowledge of IFRS and Dutch GAAP.
  • Resourceful problem-solving skills and ability to continuously improve processes.
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel.
  • Fluent written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Possessive knowledge of VAT/GST regulations.
