Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated PhD candidate to join our research team at TU Delft. The successful candidate will work on a project focused on the influence of sediment dynamics on tidal park scalability in the lower Rhine-Meuse estuary.

Research Project

The PhD project will investigate the impact of sediment dynamics on the scalability of tidal parks in the lower Rhine-Meuse estuary. The candidate will work closely with our team of researchers to develop and apply advanced numerical models to simulate sediment transport and tidal park performance.

Requirements
  • Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., coastal engineering, geosciences, civil engineering)
  • Strong background in numerical modeling and data analysis
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken)
