At Plug Power, we are seeking a skilled Financial Consolidation & Reporting Specialist to join our EMEA Finance/Accounting team. This role is a critical member of our Financial Reporting Team, supporting our Financial Department operations.

The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of US and Dutch GAAP, as well as SOX compliance standards. You will work closely with project managers to provide essential support and analysis to drive our business forward.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing end-to-end periodic financial reporting with proper financial statements in Dutch and US GAAP
  • Preparing year-end statutory financial reports in accordance with Dutch GAAP
  • Maintaining and updating the Accounts Receivable aging list
  • Communicating with project managers to assess collectability of receivables, evaluate bad debt, and identify contingencies
  • Supporting the monthly/quarterly financial closing and reporting activities of the company

You will also be responsible for supporting external audits to ensure accurate and compliant financial records, as well as providing ad hoc reports and actions to support business operations.

To succeed in this role, you will need a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field, and 3-5 years of experience in a finance role, preferably within a manufacturing or production environment. You must be proficient in financial software and MS Office Suite (especially Excel), and have excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
