About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Junior Service Administrator to join our team at Serco, a leading Space Services Provider. As a key member of our Financial Operations Section, you will be responsible for supporting the European Space Agency (ESA) staff journeys by working with various stakeholders, including travel agencies, car rental companies, and credit card providers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Certify and Calculate Travel Claims: Verify individual travel claims against supporting vouchers and invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with agency rules.
  • Settlement and Data Entry: Calculate and enter settlement data into the customer's database, maintaining up-to-date records.
  • Document Management: File vouchers, invoices, and supporting documentation, ensuring easy access and retrieval.
  • Invoice Processing: Receive, check, and enter invoices from travel agents and car hire agents into the customer's database.
  • Reconciliation and Rectification: Reconcile corporate credit card execution and ticket discrepancies, rectifying errors and discrepancies.
  • Statistics and Reporting: Create statistics and reports as requested, providing valuable insights to stakeholders.
  • Ad-Hoc Tasks: Perform other tasks as requested by the Team Manager, ensuring seamless support to the team.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as finance, accounting, or business administration.
  • Experience: At least 2 years of relevant work experience, preferably in a similar role.
  • Skills: Excellent customer service skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in financial accounting and Accounts Payables.
  • Software Proficiency: Familiarity with modern office automation tools, particularly Microsoft Office, and customized database and software applications.
  • SAP Experience: Experience as a user of SAP, particularly the ECC module, and familiarity with relevant ESA corporate applications is an asset.
  • Language Skills: Fluency in English, both written and spoken, and a good working knowledge of French is an asset.
  • EU Eligibility: Candidates must be eligible to work in the EU.
